Ascension Lutheran’s growing school required additional classrooms and congregational gatherings.  The new, extended Narthex Hall continues to serve a diverse community with many memorable events each year.  This was on of our church designs done in MD over forty years.

Our leader John Corkill, Jr. is enjoying his 71st year as an Ascension member.   CCR architect, Steve Corkill, remains an associate member while an active member of Joy Reigns Lutheran with his Family.  John Sr. and Catherine Corkill were one of several founding-member-families in the late 1940’s.
