University of Maryland – LEAF House

The LEAF House was designed and constructed by students of the University of Maryland School of Architecture as a submission for the Solar Decathlon in 2008. Today this structure remains on the grounds of College Park as a display of the school’s commitment to innovation in design. As part of our continuing education, CCR had the opportunity of visiting the LEAF House and exploring its sustainable building materials and eco-friendly technologies.
